Love the kind of powerful symbols my clients come up with in Hypnosis to help them in their journey. A client's unconscious came up with this Ankh Symbol the other day which I hadn't heard of before. I remember loving studying ancient Egypt in primary school in the UK but obviously have forgotten a lot of what I was taught. Such beautiful and powerful meaning below. So appropriate for our sessions and so lovely for it to inspire my curiosity into powerful ancient symbols. ❤️

“I started to work with Kelly around March 2023. While working together, we discovered some flawed beliefs that exacerbated my symptoms and caused me to self-soothe in harmful ways. We worked on coping mechanisms for both anxiety and dépressive episodes which included a lot of visualizations, creating space to feel feelings, and taking time to articulate how one is feeling. After a few months of working together with Kelly (and on the advice of my psychiatrist), I finally felt like I was ready to stop my antidepressants. While I have had episodes, I have more tools in my belt now, and of course access to Kelly when more fuel is needed in my engine.

My favorite things about my experience working with Kelly is that we are working TOGETHER – she is extremely invested in her patients well-being, she notes small personal details about you and makes the whole experience more personal, but also she doesn’t let you slack off. The first few weeks were hard work because it involves unraveling a lot of what you believe is “true” – your core beliefs and values. However it is more than worth it, because you rebuild them in a healthier way, that for me thus far (1.5y later) is still sustained, and I am better able to counter the negative voice and disordered thinking that comes with depression and anxiety. A second thing to note is that Kelly took a lot of time to understand and take into account my culture and it’s impact on my values and beliefs (I am African so very far from Australia in a lot of ways) all while remaining true yet respectful.

Did you know that studies show that we go into hypnosis a minimum of twice a day? So it could be when you're listening to music or a podcast, or watching your a show or movie and just any time where you feel so relaxed. These powerful hypnotic states are when we make time for us. It's getting to be that busy mad dash to get to the end of the year for everyone. Magpies are extremely intelligent birds, steeped in folklore and fairytale. Many consider them an omen of luck, whether that is good luck or bad much depends on your local tales. Magpies are playful and resourceful, but often seen as tricksters and thieves. They have striking plumage that glistens with purples and greens, giving them an otherworldly appearance as they glide from tree to tree.
